Why We Started in the Dark
If you look out across most fairways today, you see a sea of neon, loud patterns, and gear that screams for attention. We wanted something different. We wanted golf apparel that looked as sharp on the street as it does on the tee box—gear built for performance, but designed with a modern, minimalist edge.
So, we stripped everything back.
We launched this brand with a single rule: perfect the foundation first. We started with black because it is the ultimate test of quality. Without bright colours or distracting prints to hide behind, the design has to be flawless. The cut has to be precise. The fabric has to perform.
This isn't just about selling a black polo. It's about engineering the perfect canvas. Welcome to Series 001. We are just getting started.
Our Commitment to the Green
"At Paul Edwards Golf, we believe the game is only as good as the grass we play on."
Our commitment to high-performance apparel is matched by our responsibility to the environment. From our ultralight, high-gauge fibers to our 100% recyclable branded mailer boxes, every element of our process is designed to minimize our footprint. We’ve eliminated single-use plastics from our shipping flow, ensuring that the only thing we leave on the course is a well-placed divot.
Premium Performance. Permanent Stewardship. For the future of the game.
FAQs
What is the "hand-feel" of the Four-Way Stretch Piqué?
1
Unlike standard performance shirts that can feel thin or "plastic-y," our Ultralight High Gauge Micro Piqué weave provides a substantial, breathable texture. It offers the sophisticated look of a traditional cotton polo but with a high-tech Polyester/Spandex blend that allows for 360-degree fluid motion during a golf swing.

Is the fabric thinner than traditional luxury golf polos?
2
Our polos are engineered with a High-Gauge Ultralight Piqué. While traditional luxury polos often use a heavier, denser knit that can trap heat, we have optimized our fabric for Maximum Thermal Regulation. By reducing the physical mass of the fabric without sacrificing opacity or durability, we’ve created a polo that feels weightless during your swing and provides superior airflow in high-temperature environments. It’s the evolution of the performance polo: all the structure of a classic piqué, with half the bulk."
Is the Sun Protection (UPF 50+) permanent?
3
Yes. Because the UPF 50+ protection is a property of the dense piqué knit and the specific technical fibers used, it provides a permanent physical barrier against UVA and UVB rays. It does not rely on chemical coatings that wash out over time.
Does the stretch affect the garment’s longevity?
4
Not at all. The Spandex-integrated Piqué is engineered for high "recovery." This means the fabric stretches to accommodate your movement but immediately snaps back to its original tailored shape, preventing the "bagging out" at the elbows or waist common in lower-quality blends.
How does the collar stay crisp without being stiff?
We use a Self-Fabric Reinforced Collar construction. By using the same high-grade piqué fabric as the body—reinforced with premium interfacing—the collar maintains its shape and "stand" throughout the day. It won't curl, pill, or lose its structure after a round in the heat or a cycle in the wash.
